So thankful for you and your resources! I thought I was only ready to talk puberty, not sex, but you made it so much easier with: consent, safety, trust, & respect. Thank you also for discussing masturbation. I’m glad these words are all out in the open now!

Thank you for facilitating this. It helped both me and my husband to normalize conversations that we may have avoided or delayed. I could talk to my daughter about periods but I would not have talked about wet dreams to my son. I also appreciate the emphasis on consent and my choice. You are one of my COVID blessings. I would not have found you or acted on this without the time and space this crisis created in my life. Not enough thank yous to convey my gratitude.

Every aspect of the workshop was helpful and the models of the penis and vulva and the images that showed variation were amazing. Thanks for showing real images of what a bloody pad and tampon look like. Thank you for bringing the “realness” we need when it comes to conversations about our bodies.

 I just got done with the Growing Into You puberty workshop and I HIGHLY recommend it to any of you with a tween! It was super informative and interesting without being embarrassing and all the relevant topics. I especially liked how everybody learns about every type of body. It’s important to me that [my child] knows about menstruation and vulvar anatomy even though he’s not a menstruator. It gave us a great foundation to build on for future talks. Thank you so much!

 I took this class with my daughter this morning, what a tremendous resource for parents. Well put together, concise, age appropriate information! My husband is going to take it with our other daughter in a few weeks. Thank you Melissa for providing this safe space for caregivers and children to meet and learn such important things about our bodies and growing up!

Melissa is an amazing facilitator! The 2 hours went by so fast, it was the perfect amount of time for my tweens.
