Refunds & Return Policy

The purchase of tangible products (ex. paperback books and posters), digital products (ex. Ebooks and online courses), and virtual event registrations (ex. virtual workshops and webinars) are subject to the following terms and conditions. Consumers are advised to review carefully before making any purchase.

Sex Positive Families, LLC reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, terms of purchases and product or service offerings without prior notice.

All transactions for purchase are made through payment gateways such as PayPal or Stripe that use SSL encryption. These payment gateways are safe and secure for using all types of credit cards and debit cards in different countries and your details are not stored during this process.

Return Policy for Tangible Products

To be eligible for a return, your tangible product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging as purchased from our website. You must notify us via email at info@sexpositivefamilies.com or at sexpositivefamilies@gmail.com within 30 days of purchase, to advise of your intent to return the item.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to any third-party manufacturer.

To return your tangible product, you should mail your product to: Sex Positive Families, LLC, 13740 N Highway 183 Ste L2 #212, Austin, Texas 78750.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. You may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Return Policy for Digital Products

Since your purchase is a digital product, it is deemed “used” after download or opening, and all purchases of digital products made on www.sexpositivefamilies.com or www.sex-positive-families.mykajabi.com are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable. Since the digital products are intangible, there is a strict no refund policy.

Return Policy for Virtual Event Registrations

We do not provide returns or refunds for virtual event registrations. We do allow one exchange for a different virtual event registration date, upon request, and at no additional cost. If you are unable to attend a virtual event after registering, or you have mistakenly registered for a different virtual event than you intended, please contact us no later than 4 hours before the virtual event via email at info@sexpositivefamilies.com or sexpositivefamilies@gmail.com to request rescheduling to a future virtual event. We accommodate one reschedule request at no additional cost.

Once we receive your reschedule request, we will inform you of any alternate dates that are available at that point in time. If you wish to reschedule for a different date than what is available, you are responsible for watching our website, newsletter, and/or social media for future date options as they are posted and contacting us via email when you have identified a viable alternative. If you were to no-show or are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you will then be responsible for seeking out a new date and purchasing your new registration.

Refunds for Tangible Products

For tangible products, once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 business days.

There are certain situations where refunds of tangible products are not granted:

  • Book or poster with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@sexpositivefamilies.com.
