Melissa is an amazing facilitator! The 2 hours went by so fast, it was the perfect amount of time for my tweens. As an adult, I feel like I yearned for more time since this is a conversation that was not provided to me when I was younger. Thank you for using inclusive and gender neutral language. Every aspect of the workshop was helpful and the models of the penis and vulva and the images that showed variation were amazing. Thanks for showing real images of what a bloody pad and tampon look like. Thank you for bringing the “realness” we need when it comes to conversations about our bodies.

 I took this class with my daughter this morning, what a tremendous resource for parents. Well put together, concise, age appropriate information! My husband is going to take it with our other daughter in a few weeks.  I just got done with the Growing Into You puberty workshop and I HIGHLY recommend it to any of you with a tween! It was super informative and interesting without being embarrassing and all the relevant topics. I especially liked how everybody learns about every type of body. It’s important to me that [my child] knows about menstruation and vulvar anatomy even though he’s not a menstruator. It gave us a great foundation to build on for future talks. Thank you so much!

Thank you for facilitating this. It helped both me and my husband to normalize conversations that we may have avoided or delayed.
